After leaving the Golden Gate Bridge we made a slight miscalculation on our parking and ended up missing the boat for our Alcatraz tour. By three minutes.
But it ended up not being a big deal, because we were able to get on the next boat 20 minutes later.

So much life has happened in the last month. So much so, I will be breaking it up into a few posts because I took alot of pictures, and you know I like to share pictures. What started as a trip to see my friends, going to a dear friend’s wedding, going to San Franscisco and Monterey Bay Aquarium, ended up with all of those things happening, but also my grandpa passing away.

What does a live showing of a podcast look like? Like this.
I had no idea what to expect when we went to the live show of Welcome to Night Vale. We dressed up in our purple best and had a grand time. Or as the Immovable Force put it: “I am tired of laughing.” Because really, we were laughing most of the time. It is such a treat to go the theatre, and a geeky event like this? Even better.
My favorite thing about Night Vale is how it is so different than any other storytelling I regularly enjoy. There were no props, no visual aids, just the performers and their script.
And Molly Quinn from Castle was one of the performers, which I had not known before she came on stage.
So yes, if you are enjoying this podcast and you have the opportunity to see this show live- go see it.
Until this morning, the term ‘adulting’ hadn’t really made it into my vocabulary. And then I saw this lady get out of her car, while holding her cellphone up to her ear, holding her coffee in one hand and putting a bouquet of a flowers into her bag with her other hand and walk into the office. In high heels. And to that lady from the offices downstairs- you are adulting.
I didn’t get posts set up for this week.
So for now here’s a picture of the moose that adorned the wall of the beach house we stayed at this past weekend:
The midget and I took the opportunity last weekend to drive out and do a bit of exploring.
This is Twin Lakes, one body of water that is divided into Upper and Lower Twin Lakes connected by a little channel. It completely freezes over in the winter to the point that people drive atvs over it to get to the other side of the lake.
Little peek of the water through the trees and the hills.
when shopping for a baby shower you come across a manatee tea infuser and it needs to be part of your life.
